Joey’s Tailwheel Scholarship will now be a permanent Scholarship with EAA and will continue to help another Pilot enjoy the Gift of Flying Tailwheel for many, many years ! 🙏✈️💚
I am thrilled for this !

I intend to continue with Joey’s Annual Fund Scholarship as well, so there will be TWO Tailwheel Endorsement Scholarships keeping Joey’s Legacy Soaring through EAA ! ✈️

How exciting !

Since Tailwheel Flying and Technologies were Joey’s greatest Passions, the best way to honor his Legacy is:

a Toolkit Scholarship at SIU for a Tech Student

a Tailwheel Endorsement Scholarship through EAA to help inspire another Aviator to enjoy Vintage Flying.

The pictures above were taken on the way to SIU for his job interview at the Southern Illinois Airport, on August 5, 2020. He got the job! Then we headed to Joe’s Grandparents in Ava, Missouri to meet up with big Brother Josh for a day before heading back home to Illinois. A beautiful landing on the grass strip at MO77, Arnika Ranch Airport.
